Charlamagne Tha God: A Scary World For Young Men

There is no shortage of accusations that are making headlines recently against men in high places. There is no sure reason behind them or what is true or not. All facts are taken into account and decisions are made within a courtroom. Recently, Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, was appointed to be the next Supreme Court Justice. He was also among the several men that have allegations by women that are positive about their sexual assaults. The allegations have encouraged many women to come forward who would not have, but also to falsify. Many people have their opinions – supported or not – and many are purely outraged and disappointed.

Many are appreciative that a man of Kavanaugh stature was appointed similarly to Trump being in high power; while some wonder why he was considered eligible to serve as the highest court power. Breakfast Club’s co-host Charlamagne tha God, took to his Twitter and delivered half the statement that President Trump made in regard to Brett as well as his thoughts. Charlamagne has been very vocal about all allegations that have been aired, especially when it came to Bill Cosby.

Charlamagne Tha God stated that it is very concerning and scary time for all young men in America because you can be innocent and found guilty in the eyes of the court. This is a setback, and we’re in tough times right now. The events that are happening recently are more serious than the appointment of Brett Kavanaugh as the Supreme Court justice.

He mentioned that your actions years ago can be used against you and can be used as evidence that you are guilty when your 20-year-old self is not the 40-year-old you[…]. He said that it is sad that some can accuse you of something you didn’t do and that is your conviction. Charlamagne tha God said that the court motto has done a 180 because you are guilty until proven innocent.

Charlamagne Tha God concluded by saying “Welcome To a Blackman’s World.” With the events of Central Park 5, he mentioned that now they know how those men felt. Visit This Page to learn more.

Charlamagne Tha God On Sexual Assault Claims

Doubtless, you have heard of the many allegations flying around the country in regards to who sexually assaulted who, usually with no evidence or even witness that can agree. It has been a growing issue, with one side claiming that with a lack of evidence, one cannot be convicted, whereas the other side says that all victims who come forward should be believed. All the while in the middle of it all, those who had been assaulted are being forced to relive their trauma over and over again with each major public accusation that comes up.

President Trump has, of course, had much to say on this. He can be quoted as saying that it is “…a very scary time for young men in America…”, referring to how it seems easy for any woman to come forward with no proof and claim a man raped her simply to see his life ruined.

Charlamagne Tha God has actually agreed with what Trump has said on the issue, and even drew a parallel between today and history.

Charlamagne Tha God shared a video of Trump speaking on the issue, captioning it, “Welcome to A Blackman’s World.” His quote referencing the Central Park Five; a group of black men who had been accused of raping a woman, only to be released after thirteen years of prison time when the real, white, culprit was found.

It is hard to argue with Charlamagne’s choice in words, as there have been instances of women accusing men to have then sent to prison, only to later come forward or otherwise prove that it was a lie. Such was a very common threat for many black people mere decades ago. Find Additional Information Here.

In production, Charlamagne runs his own company, CThaGod World LLC and co-host of Brilliant Idiots a favorite podcast. He has directed and acted in movies like Bodied (2017), on the run eating (2018) and Grow House (2017) to mention but a few. Also, he is a writer and has a book titled “Black Privilege” which ranked sixth in the New York Times of bestselling hardback nonfiction on May 7 2017. Another book Charlamagne has written is titled “Shook One: Anxiety Playing Tricks On Me”.

Perhaps we should all remember to learn from our history before we thoughtlessly repeat it.
